Ribbed Beanie

A plain ribbed beanie knitted in a wool-acrylic blend. The blend matters here: pure acrylic goes shiny and holds static, pure wool shrinks if it ever meets a washing machine, and this sits between the two, warm, matte and washable. Knitted as a tube with a folded brim, so it sits double-thickness over the ears, which is the part that actually gets cold. No pom, no label on the outside. The rib has enough stretch to fit a range of head sizes without leaving a mark on the forehead.

Hand wash cold or machine wash on a wool cycle inside a mesh bag, then reshape and dry flat.

Sizing. One size, approximately 21 to 23 inch circumference unstretched.
